Bernie is around 4 years old and one of the coolest dogs around! He LOVES people & just melts into you when you pet him. Everyone he meets is his new BFF! He came to us with a broken femoral head & had FHO surgery. Or a femoral head ostectomy. Basically the ball of the femor bone was broken so the doctor removed that part of the bone. Even through the worst pain he was still wagging his tail & all the vet girls would say what a good dog he is. Bernie has healed & will be just fine. He is crate & house trained. He would prefer to be the only dog in the home although he lives with cats!
He LOVES LOVES LOVES a good toy! No fenced in yard....NO worries Bernie can clear a 6ft fence so can never be let off leash! All Bernie wants in life is to lay on the sofa & watch tv with you! His adoption fee is $200 & you can apply at www.braginc.org under forms.

Bernie was recently out on a walk with his foster when she had a panic & asthma attack. He knew just what to do to help her. He supported her body & barked and whined till someone stopped to help her. He was an amazing hero! We have no doubt Bernie could be a service dog.
