Status: Available Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat) Species/Sex: Dog/Female Description: Ali and her siblingswere rescued from a SW Virginia shelter after they were dumped by their owner. We do not know what kind of dogs they are....best guess is 100% American Mutt! They are on the bigger side for their age. Status: Available Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier / American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat) Species/Sex: Dog/Female Description: Blanche was hit by a car in Newport News & after her owners were located they abandoned her at the emergency vet. They eventually signed her over to animal control so she could get treatment. We took her into rescue a few days after the accident - she was wheeled out to us on a cart. We got her ... Status: Available Breed: Hound / Mixed (short coat) Species/Sex: Dog/Male Description: Cookie & his 3 siblings were found dumped on a country back road in Lee County VA. Their shelter is very full and euthanizing for space so the finder held onto them for the almost 3 weeks it took for a rescue (us) to step up and save them!
