Mel and 4 other siblings were surrendered to a SW Virginia pound and they were so cute we just knew a rescue would step up quickly for them. But they sat for over a week with no interest at all. That is when we stepped in to save them! Their breed make up is unknown as we have not done a dna test. German shep mix is just a guess. They came into rescue & setteled in with foster families without missing a beat - it was as if they had always been there! They slept through the night and are doing great at house training. They love to play and then cuddle up with you for a nice nap...only to do it all over again. They LOVE to eat and treatos!

Mel is a huge cuddler! When she is not playing with the other dogs she wants to be snuggled up next to you. She is working hard on house training and crate training. She is good with dogs, cats and kids.
