Birch and 4 other siblings were surrendered to a SW Virginia pound and they were so cute we just knew a rescue would step up quickly for them. But they sat for over a week with no interest at all. That is when we stepped in to save them! We do not know their breed make up as we have not done a DNA test. German Shep mix is just a best guess. They came into rescue & setteled in with foster families without missing a beat - it was as if they had always been there! They slept through the night and are doing great at house training. They love to play and then cuddle up with you for a nice nap...only to do it all over again. They LOVE to eat and treatos!

Birch is working hard on house training. He enjoys his kennel and goes in on command! He knows Sit and is always eager to show you! He loves to watch his person and follow you around. He craves human attention and is more drawn to men but loves his foster mom too! He is learning to walk on leash like a pro.
